Munch with Music - October 2025

Munch with Music logo.

The next Munch with Music will be held in the church on 1st October 2025 featuring Lin Xu-Zhang on the piano.

You are invited to bring your own ‘Munch’.

Admission is free, donations are welcome.

Coffee, tea and biscuits from 12:15pm, with the performance starting at 12:45pm and lasting about 45 minutes.

The following Munch will be on 5th November 2025, with artists from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music.

Heritage Open Days September 2025

Heritage Open Days, 20 September 10am to 5pm, 21 September noon to 5pm.

St John’s Church, Caterham Valley is opening for the Heritage Open Days on 20th and 21st September.

With the theme of Architecture, come and make some insect homes, try and make a spider’s web and take part in other activities in our beautiful Victorian Church. Local groups will have displays in the church.

We are open from 10am on 20th until 5pm, with a Tower Tour at 10.10am and The Westway Singers 11.15am – 12.15am.

On 21st we are open from 12 noon to 5pm with a Tower Tour 2 – 3pm.

Assembly Bangers

Assembly Bangers, 27 September 2025 at 7pm in the church.

You are invited to a nostalgic night of singing along to old favourites and well-known Hymns on Saturday 27th September, 7 to 8.30pm in the Church.
 
Tickets £5, please buy from Jaimee, contact stjohnschurchcaterham@outlook.com
 
There will be some available on the night on a first come first served basis. Refreshments will be available, and you are welcome to BYOB.
 
Proceeds go towards funding the Accessibility Project !

Forest Church August 2025

This Saturday 16 August, 3pm-3.45pm in Caterham School's Pre-prep outdoor area.
 
The theme is 'God's provision' expressed in the harvest and foraging. Blackberries, bird feeders with apples feature and a picnic.
