Dementia Friendly Services

There is a ministry team for care homes. We offer an adapted, dementia-friendly service to residents of Tupwood Gate Care Home, Caterham, every other week. We also offer pastoral and end-of-life visits.

Crafting For Good

The Church craft group meets Tuesdays, 10-12 in Caffe Bambino, Caterham High Street. They make things for charity and their first project was to make twiddle muffs for locals living with dementia.

Previous Events

We have hosted Dementia Friendly Training Sessions (keep an eye out as these happen every so often!)

We have hosted speakers on topics such as 'Living Well with Dementia'. These were organised by the Mothers Union, a group in Church who work for justice and families in Church.

In 2025, members of the Church set up and ran a weekly dementia cafe. This is not currently meeting.
